Annabelle Stanley is a down to earth singer from crowded Los Angeles. She leads a carefree life. However, all that changes when Annabelle books a summer holiday to an even more crowded New York. At first Annabelle finds New York very urban. Then there's the mysterious and hilarious photographer, Dennis Dartford, who makes her feel uneasy. When Dennis invites her out for a shoot, Annabelle begins to realise that Dennis is a deeply witty and articulate man. Annabelle knows in her heart that Dennis is the man for her. However, to secure her happiness, Annabelle must fend off the caring doctor, Kevin West, who wants to get his claws into Dennis. Using her giant smile and a mutual love of music, Annabelle sets out to snare Dennis once and for all.
