Ariella Malfoy and James Potter are complete opposites. They have hated each other since day one. He was a Gryffindor, proud, loud, brave, and most importantly son to the famous Harry Potter. She was a Slytherin, sly, cunning, sarcastic, and daughter to Draco Malfoy - Harry Potter's childhood enemy. Going into their fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry Ariella promises herself and Potter that she will make his year a nightmare. But with nightmares and secrets of her own will Ari be able to keep them from consuming her? What happens when James wants to be friends? Maybe even more? Will Ari let the handsome Gryffindor save her? Or will she break in the process and push everyone out of her life for good?

The one thing she can't wrap her head around is why the most hateful and pompous person at Hogwarts renders her unable to hide her emotions or think rationally.
