Andra De Acutis was the first born of the De Acutis family. In De Acutis family, there was no sons, leaving no heir for the Baron to choose from. Since being the 1st born daughter, Baron De Actuis was left no choice but to settle on Andra for some reason. Though he believe that woman should not be involved with male affairs. This led Andra to became to develop an obsession with becoming a Knight. The first female knight in all of Gavaria. This was of course against her father's wishes who change his mind now wanting her to become a subservient wife.
Andra's journey leads her to disguise as a man and joins to the draft that was needed for the up and coming war between the kingdom of Genvaria and mutant monsters that are multiplying outside the kingdom
There she meets Castillo Mendoza, the Grand Duke and the General of the King's Knights. To Andra dismay, Castillo believe women should be at home and to not have be involved in "men's affairs". Due to this belief and differing personalities, they clash upon meeting. Though during this, feelings that oppose this start to arise.
