Levy McGarden is a typical girl who runs a book shop in her quaint town...except she's a mermaid...and her quaint town happens to be one of the seven oceanic kingdoms. Life is repetitive and boring for the small mermaid, especially since the number one rule for all common merfolk is: no venturing beyond the walls. But Levy is different. She wants adventure, and the walls were her prison bars, but what lay beyond the border will change the course of her life forever. Welcome to Fairy Tail, the safest merfolk kingdom in the world...or so one would think.
