Neverland is in danger and so is Peter Pan. The only way to save both the island and himself was to find his true love. 

He was Neverland's King, and his true love was the queen. 

He thought his true love was Wendy Darling due to a sketched scroll of a young girl. Wendy looked alike like on the scroll, but it wasn't her. He knew it had to be one of her descendants.  

So, for centuries, Peter Pan visited the Darling household upon a Darling girl's 17th birthday, hoping to find the girl on the scroll. 

He was about to give up when he found her.

And one night as he's talking with one of the boys a girl with her golden hair barge in and thought she was the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen. The next night he came back to watch her a little bit hoping that she would be the "mother" of the boys who were on Neverland. He offers her a chance of a lifetime to come with him but, she says only if my brothers can come long. And as they get to Neverland the battle that was brewing with his rival became stronger and put the girl named Wendy (who he started to like) in more danger then he thought.
