When a normal teen wakes up to a loud, odd sound one night, she had no idea she was hearing the sound of a dragon waking up from a long fast.
The dragon is immoral and stays invisible to the mortal eye, but every couple thousand years, the dragon wakes up from his fast and is noticed by one (at night). This is by the work of an ancient sorcerer. Although this dragon was spared, the rest of the dragons became extinct over time.
Although this teen thinks of the countless noises of her nearly sleepless nights now as just crazy dreams, she doesn't know what actually is going on.
Will she figure out what's going on? Will she meet the dragon face to face? Will her curiosity put her in danger?

Torin has always felt out of place in his small village. Despite the familiarity of his surroundings, he cannot shake the feeling that he doesn't belong. He longs for a place where he can truly be himself, away from the expectations of his people, a life free of the stifling weight of conformity. His dreams are filled with a sense of belonging, a vision of a life where he is accepted for who he is, not for who others expect him to be. One fateful day, while attending the annual Dragon Safe Arena, where dragons are brought to be killed for sport and fear, something extraordinary happens. A black dragon, larger and more majestic than any Torin has ever seen, enters the arena. The crowd erupts in excitement, but Torin feels an unexpected connection. The Mortal Realms is filled with mortal beings, and a mix of other beings that made their way here. One of them were Demonics, known to bring bloodshed, the main threat of this realm.
