30days sober in Italy

First time sober(day 30), an American traveling to Italy...I didn't want to discontinue my adventurous life while trying to stay sober so I kept my plans to travel to Italy and made a plan to attend meetings within walking distance from my hotel. I was open and honest about my sobriety with my two woman friends that joined me who were very supportive. I was determined to stay sober during this trip, keeping the promise to myself to be a better person than I was yesterday. Also wanting to remember in more detail fun trips that I would be taking in the future and experience them to the fullest.
