The rules were ingrained within each Glader from the time they arrived. Every month, like clockwork, a new boy would be brought up in the Box, trapped in a giant Maze with the hope that one day they would be able to escape.

Raff, the first boy to have come up in the Box, wasn't as optimistic. He'd participate and work as hard as he could in the Glade - the one safe haven the boys had been blessed with - and would even joke around with his fellow brothers. There was always that nagging feeling in his brain though, that something wasn't right. That they would never be able to leave the Maze. That was until their newest Greenie arrived and changed 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜.
