"And somehow along the way, I forgot what it meant to be prosaic." Growing up as an news anchor's daughter in New York City isn't always the easiest thing. 15 year old Carter Williams is used to all of the hustle and bustle that comes along with city life. After her move eight years ago from a small family farm in Wyoming, she has traded her overalls and rubber boots for Uggs and Starbucks. Living in a flashy, unique, complex world, Carter has dedicated her life to making herself extraordinary. Enter Everett Meyer. Tall, lean, and very much from Texas. When this country boy moves to the Big City, he brings a taste of ordinary, natural, prosaic living with him...a taste that Carter soon can't live without.

The continuation of my previous story Something Like Summer. This is the 2nd part of the trilogy, with the last being Something Like Spring. It has passed 2 years since Oskar met Aaron for the first time. They haven't talked to each other since then. Aaron lives his best life with his friends and girlfriend, as a popular boy. He quickly forgot about Oskar. Oskar also has his accountable friends, but the day he met Aaron for the first time in 2013 he fell in love with him. He tried to hide it for a long time. One year later in summer 2014 Oskar finally admits to himself he's in love with Aaron, but it seems like their ways had been separated for good. Another year flies by, and now we have the autumn of 2015. 14-years old Oskar begins his 3rd and last grade of junior high school in Poland. The boy tries to accept the fact that Aaron, 16, ended the same junior high school a few months ago and that he won't be seeing him on corridors anymore during breaks. They meet though, at the same school. One incident will bring closer boys to each other for the first time. However, Aaron is clearly only into girls. Oskar feels attracted to boys but still doesn't admit to himself that he might be gay and generally is in denial. What will happen between them- friendship, love, hatred? Maybe nothing? The future will tell...
