12 year old Kai used to live with his mother and stepfather. But after their mother passed away due to alcohol poisoning his live quickly took a turn for the worst. 

With the only adult knowing of his existence being his abusive stepfather he knew that he needed to get out of there. But when he can't even muster the courage to speak up when spoken to how could he manage outside of the confined of his "home"?
