You would've thought after nearly being killed by the man you loved would've opened your eyes, not become more vulnerable to the cruel world surrounding you.

After {Y/N}'s abusive boyfriend took it too far one night and ended up strangling her to death- or that's what should've happened- her body was enveloped by a strange black mist, and she was suddenly gone without a trace. She had abandoned her family for him, so he would be the only one to know of her disappearance- but his drunken memory wouldn't remember a thing from that night, and assumed she had run off after having enough before he woke up the next day.

Waking up in a mysterious realm, she doesn't know if she's alive or dead. Her memories are barely there, her mind in a foggy state, and she chooses to trust this strange masked man who approaches her. He claims to know how to help her, but only if she helps him first.

{Y/N} was then thrown into a dark world of violence and killings, being an accomplice to murder while reluctantly betraying those she was supposed to help. After figuring out she is what is called a survivor and supposed to help her fellow survivors escape, she is then shunned and hated by them for helping their Killer, and the only one there for her is the same man she had betrayed them for.

He was the only one who would show her the way.
