Everyone in the world is born with a mark. It looks just like a tattoo. You can't really choose who to love. Somebody out there has the same mark as you. Your soul mate. You never know what your tattoo is. The thing is your mark is never finished except if you do get to meet that one person who will complete you.

fem! reader | soulmate au •◦இ•◦ Soulmates are a fascinating thing. Some people are astonished by the idea of having a special someone to keep dear to their hearts. For others, the one picked for them, to put it lightly, is absolute hell on Earth. The soulmate picked is based on their marking. A tattoo picked for the uniqueness of the pair. In a world full of different types of quirks, the tattoo is a mixture between the two and is never the same as another pairs mark. The dominant one of the pair is allowed to pick where it is placed, but of course, it is located in the same spot as the other. That is why when Bakugou Katsuki finally gets his own soulmate marking, he is everything but delighted with the placing of it. However, his Soulmate isn't as bad as she seems. Or is she? Because with her goal to overthrow a corrupt government, he stands by her side no matter the consequences.
