People often are far different than they appear. A young boy full of naivety and obliviousness can be powerful and protective. A boy who is kind and happy and innocent can be hiding pain, sorrow, and fear. And a young man who is emotionless and cold can be caring, empathetic, and even compassionnet. Follow the story of Luke, Ranboo, Technoblade, and Michael, as they learn about love, friendship, brotherhood, and family.
"Ranboo's face burned. He couldn't open his eyes. He could hear people breathing nearby so he knew that Michael and Luke must still be asleep. He tried to stay quiet. Then his mind started thinking. 'I can't wake them up I can't wake them up I can't wake them up' Ranboo's mind started spiralling. He couldn't breathe. His breaths became short and ragged. He was having a panic attack. 'No no no no not now not now, not with Luke sitting right there. Not where Michael can see.' It was getting harder and harder to breathe. The harder it got the more Ranboo panicked and the more Ranboo panicked the harder it got to breathe. 'This is where I die.' Ranboo finally thought.
Suddenly, Ranboo felt a pair of arms wrap around him."

Tommy had just recently moved homes. The one he left was one full of memories. Not good ones, but not necessarily bad ones, either. He didn't have much to live for at his old home, so he moved in hope of starting over and meeting new people. He had no more family, and his school friends had long moved on from him. In fact, the only number in his contacts was his mum's who was long passed away. Tommy was young (sixteen, to be exact) and he often forgot things. Usually just as simple as forgetting to do the laundry, or forgetting to reply to a notification on his phone that he received three seconds prior. Simple things that didn't matter. This time, though, he forgot to charge his phone before leaving his new, barely furnished apartment. He didn't think much of it. If it died, it died. No biggie, right? He figured he'd be alright for an hour or so without his phone. That is, until he got lost in the large, unfamiliar town that he definitely didn't even slightly know the layout of. He didn't know where he was or how to get back to his apartment, especially without a GPS. And then, when it definitely couldn't get worse, it began to rain. Tommy was soaked. He was cold, hungry. He cut into an alley and sat down against a brick wall, curled up on himself. He sat there for a while, and then heard footsteps. It was three men. The older one crouched down in front of him. "You look awful...Come with us, mate." But Tommy didn't want to. IN WHICH: Angels and demons don't mix, and when they do, demons tend to chase after them, trying to kill every last one of the hybrids. So before they could even speak a word, Ranboo and (Y/N) were sent to the Overworld to seek cover from death. But they find the two anyways. --- Eventually, Techno stopped. We made our way a couple meters away before stopping and looking towards him curiously. Was this the best decision? No. But are we dumb seventeen year olds? Oh most definitely. Techno stood still for a moment, looking at the ground, before sighing and nodding to himself- what I thought was himself. He looked towards us. "You're lucky that Dan got through to him." "Philza?" Ranboo asked quietly. Techno made a noise that was in between a laugh and a scoff. "Yeah." Tubbo let out a breath of relief as he leaned on the wall, sinking to the ground, practically collapsing. "I have never ran more in my life." "At least we're alive." I muttered as Ranboo fell down backwards as well, landing on the cloud floor in relief. "I'm so tired." he groaned. I simply sat back right on my ass, breathing out harshly. OR I squeezed Ranboo in a hug one last time before laying him down on the cloudy floor, a little closer to Tubbo before stepping over him, sword still in hand. "You killed my best friends." I glared as Techno watched as always, nonchalant. "You killed my best friends!" "It's my job, kid." "Fuck you." Techno swung his axe idly, "as an assassin, I get that more than you'd think." Word Count: 11,000 Ranboo had been dealing with the voices in his head for a few months now, and it was getting harder and harder to hide the fact that he was slowly going mad from the mental torture Dream gave him. His friends weren't stupid, they clearly saw something wasn't right when he'd end streams abruptly, or start having a full on panic attack out of nowhere, muttering things to himself. They just didn't know what. He swallowed as he realized the depth of the situation he was in. He knew what kind of knight was hunting him down right now: a bounty hunter. A ferocious warrior, swift and nearly silent, specially trained to capture wanted criminals and take them to their kings, for rewards of gold, jewels, riches, and power. There was no way he could escape or outrun him. He would always be one step ahead. He wanted... no, he needed to know if his family was safe. Even though it was unlikely that they were in danger, it was not impossible. And if there was one thing Techno didn't cope well with, it was losing the ones he loved. (Or, Technoblade's hopes of a peaceful retirement arc are shattered when he's hunted down by a ruthless warrior in a smiling mask. And oh God, why won't his brother just LISTEN to him for once?) i hear footsteps behind me. i try to get up but struggle to because of the wound in my side. i shift my body to see Technoblade walking towards me. "Techno i'm fine, really." i say, frustrated. he doesn't respond, instead, he kneels beside me and looks at my wounds. he lifts up my shirt to show the stab wound on my side, blood spilling from it. "who did it?" he asks. "what-" "who stabbed you?" he asks, anger lingering in his voice. "why does it matter?" "just tell me." he asks, anger being replaced with eagerness. "Schlatt." i mumble. the pain in my side increases by the second. Technoblade looks up from me, to Schlatt, who holds a sword with my blood dripping off of it. Technoblade stands up from beside me, and approaches Schlatt, drawing his axe. "what's wrong Techno? i was doing you a favor. it's not like you even liked her in the first place." Schlatt said, smiling.
