Cayrnr has always been a quaint place, nestled in the southern reaches of the vale, its lamplit streets are warm and welcoming to travelers, mages and citizens alike. It's not a bad place to live... or so Efa thinks.

Abandoned at birth, and having grown up an orphan, she earns her keep by delivering letters for the Cayrnr post company. But after passing her fifteenth winter, she receives a letter, detailing an interesting proposal; to travel beyond Cayrnr and even beyond the Vale to become a messenger for a secret organization, bent on maintaining balance in their world. But first she must undertake the long journey to reach the destination that she was detailed to find. . . and things don't go as smoothly as she had hoped.

With her journey off to a bad start, Efa must face hardship after hardship as she eventually finds the people who summoned her and joins them in their mission. Dealing with angry nobles and all powerful Magi become a routine occurrence, while skirmishes with Faeries and the Beasts happen all too often. Watch as she makes new friends, confronts old ones, unearths a conspiracy that has been rooted deep in the core of their kingdom, discovers her prowess for the magnus arts and changes the course of magic forever...All Rights Reserved
