As I approached her lifeless body, I looked once again at her eyes hoping that the dull grey would turn once again into green, hoping, wishing. " We'll give you a moment" the doctor whispered, ordering his subordinates to leave also. As I grasped her dainty hands, a shiver ran down my spine, she was cold, pressing my head against her bosom it was confirmed, her subtle heartbeat had totally vanished, she was really dead.
" Take me instead " I whispered, yearning for a response, believing that she could come back, she didn't deserve to die, she didn't deserve this. Why do you have to do this to me? Why are you leaving me?
" What are you willing to do to get her back" a soft voice answered. Looking once again at my mother's lifeless body I replied, " Anything, anything you want, just bring my mother back to me". A small grin grew on the person's face " It is done,"
