The Fallen was a virus that infected the body's of the dead, turning them into brainless creatures at sunset. The only known "cure" could be found as special flowers that the people of Taren could create within a heart beat. One afternoon, while looking for Fallen People around her village to cover with flowers, Amara Barrow stumbled upon the Corpse of a Fallen infected Woman. Whilst finishing Amara noticed the sun had been setting and she came face to face with the Fallen Woman. Stunned, Amara returned to her village with a flaring bite mark on her wrist.
