The Curse of the Blood Moon In the Zemorian Empire, monsters aren't just born-they're made. Under the iron fist of Emperor Zandar, the laws of nature have been discarded. In secret laboratories and forgotten towers, the Empire is perfecting the unthinkable: a race of human-vampire hybrids designed for a war that will set the world of Arnora ablaze. When a close friend is taken by these abominations, Owin-a Slayer with a mysterious power building behind his eyes-and Aqua Moonfall, a high-ranking mage, must lead a desperate rescue mission. Their journey will take them from the shifting halls of the Elysium Tower to the fortress of Whitestone, where they must face the Four Generals of Zhagos, each a masterpiece of dark evolution. But as the Blood Moon rises to its zenith, the group realizes that the greatest threat might not be the army of hybrids outside their door, but the secrets hidden within their own party. In a world where light can be as destructive as darkness, the price of victory may be higher than any of them are willing to pay. The hunt has begun. The moon is bleeding. And no one is safe. Book One is finally complete, please look forward to Book Two, The Chronicles of Arnora: The Zemorian Invasion! *If any names in my story are that of real world people it's completely coincidental, I use a random name generator, which creates countless names, to help with the naming of some of my characters.

Mediocre Writing Crappy Flow is the author's honest attempt at trying to complete a Novella length composition. Written during the quarantine time as part of #campnanowrimo, the present volume introduces the writing style of the author through the medium of five short stories, an essay and a flash memoir, all stand-alone-except one bonus piece at the end-the first chapter of the author's #wip , Shvapach, about a perceived utopian future at Mars when Earth is rendered uninhabitable. The first story, for kids, is about a snake charmer that allows his snake to gobble birdies. What happens of him and his snake, after they are caught in the act, is followed in the story. It tries to make kids understand the right way of feeding snakes. The second story, for lovers, is about a young couple discussing going to a film about a same-sex relationship. The discussion that follows reveals that it's not love but sympathy and trust that is binding them together. The third story, for friends, is about two childhood buddies from the same tribe who now stand opposite each other, on the implications of a dam inside the jungles. The fourth story, for scribes, explores how much the first work of an author is the reflection of her life. The fifth story, for dreamers, is about an independent woman trying to shake off her aristocratic identity. Her father makes her fall back in line using love as a weapon. The essay, for women, explores the first profession in the world by evaluating the various claimants to the title and how women came to become the first commodity. Flash memoir, for me, is a monologue of a person walking through a park during springtime, the king of seasons when everything is extra energised. Written in British English, palatable to US English readers and understandable by all others, Mediocre writing Crappy Flow, tries to put into a philosophical perspective, the day-to-day experiences that we ignore in the daily hustle of trying to put food on the table.

Yet again Darkness is hungry for a war to end it all, but Light will always have troops at the ready. One girl. One kingdom. Eleven friends. Four Elements. No biggie. * I'm Melody, hybrid freak, nice to meet you, strange muggle who I know nothing about. I used to be like you, cluelessly ignorant and uninvolved with the outside world. You know, they have a big, yellow ball of gas in the sky. Weird. Anyway my life became something out of a bad Si-Fi movie, and no, Nicolas Cage isn't in it (sadly). There are two forces in the world, Light and Darkness, and when you side with Light, Darkness gets a stick up its ass and wants you to suffer. My friends and I, we roll with Light, you must know where that leads.... I have a kingdom to learn, powers to master, loud friends to keep in line, a boy that I'm messed up over, and above it all, Darkness to show whose boss. Not as easy as you might think, but this is MY story, and I know how it ends. Being a loyal follower of Light shows me the beauty in life and the devastation it can cause. Don't get me wrong, I love Light, but Darkness makes it hard to stay and fight. * Melody is weird. She's childish. She's awkward. And she's got boy issues she needs to work out. Mel will face evil like no other, but can she do it? Will the scales of Light and Darkness finally be tipped? How can one girl make a difference? This is Melody, a corky teenager, and she wants you to read her story. Like now. Enjoy! Highest rank- #69 in Fantasy (Still cant believe it!!)

"Who's there," I can't breath. I'm always looking over my shoulder ever since- I can't think about the now. I have to run but where, back to Jake? No I can't, everything is different now. He's supposed to be here to protect me, because if the got me... blood smears the pages of the passed. "Sapphire!" I hear him call. "Coal!" I reach out to touch him only for him to be yanked just out of my reach. I hear the wolves in the distance howling at the beautiful moon. I need his touch again. I need to know I'm safe. The only safe place anymore is pressed against him under the sheets. "Coal!" I call out again. ---I can hear her. She's here somewhere I know it. I can smell her sent threw the thick of the woods. "Sapphire!" I call out, but my call is lost in the night. I have to protect her. I have to save one, just one. Maybe that will be enough to clean the blood off my tainted skin. What if they get her? She'll... Change... I look up at the moon, could she not have heard my howls? Of course she did. She always did. I can hear the other wolves in the forest. Soon I too would be engulfed by the beast. Unable to control myself, unable to predict the beasts next move. Only she could tame the beast inside me. Why be afraid of the monster under the bed when you should be afraid of the one lying next to you under the sheets.--- I keep quiet in the deep dark night. Watching her waiting for her to come back to me. I wait for him to slip up just long enough for me to swoop in and take her. It's only a matter of time. I wait for him to turn into that hideous beast. The beast that only comes out in the light of the moon. The beast that feeds of the insentient. I have to find her,to make her perfect, at least that's what they tell me. They tell me she'll be perfect and she will be mine. She will be the beginning of a new ere the ere of the beast. Everyone has secrets. Everyone lies. Everyone cries. Everyone dies. 2 view points, Coal and Sapphire. Mature! All rights reserved! Thank you!

The Dark Witch: The Nox Haven Series

I'd Like to think I was a good person, before it all began. I didn't cheat on tests, or steal. But throughout my entire life, I was treated if I were a monster. At the age of five, after several agonizing tests, I was diagnosed with Reactive Attachment Disorder. But not even that title could describe just how strange I was. When another kid got hurt, I would cry. Whenever someone else was told a funny joke, I would laugh hysterically. People looked at me as if I were crazy- and for while I agreed with them. That was until I, Caddie Jones, was exiled to Nox Haven Academy, a school for truly special kids. Not the mentally ill, psychotic kind of special but the magical kind. Like witches, vampires, fairies and werewolves. Call me crazy if you want, you wouldn't be the first. But the stories are all true. The supernatural did exist and I was one of them. Life there was cool until suddenly, I was faced with two-faced witches, egotistical princes, hormone driven werewolves, and an army of evil warlocks who were threatening to destroy the world. ... Maybe Nox Haven was a school for psychos after all. ---------------------------------------------------------- Highest Rank: #2 in Paranormal 1st Place winner of The Night Shift's Killer Competition 4/10/16 Illustration by: Stephanie Pitino (www.ClairObscur.fr) (1st book in series)
