In the world of Kystris, a battle rages between two kingdoms, and a student from the college of Kleis races to the Frozen Isles of Jaalchurst in chase of a rumor. Whether it remains to be true is still to be seen. 

Keriko, a young woman with strange magic running in her veins, chases after rumors, myths, and legends while fighting to keep a secret about herself hidden. Should she be found out, it won't just be her life on the line but the safety of the world as well.

AKT: First Draft (Discontinued) by DyroDotExe

The first draft of A Kiflo Tale, a Fantasy book I've been trying to write for some time. I've since decided that I want to heavily outline my book, and also change its perspective, this draft of the story is both unfinished, and written from first person. I'm only really keeping it for notes and references, but I also want there to be history stamps for some of the first written work I did. Here the work is raw, the words written, since I was 15, from now (17, in 2018). Everyone has a poor first book, true, and even though I know AKT isn't going to be the greatest, I'm writing it for myself, and I want it to personally reflect what I want to read. Classic Fantasy following Arilyn Larkir, she is a student of the ancient, though often considered dark and cursed, art of Kiflo. Kiflo, is a form of natural magic which manipulates elements of the world, giving its user powers, but powers which must be contained, or the consequences could be fatal. AKT is heavily influenced by the Witcher Series (particularly the games), DnD (Dungeons and Dragons) and is my first real attempt at long form, high fantasy narrative. The universe I plan to expand in general, as I like my short stories and stuff to link to the world I've built.

Mainly told from the eyes of an elven mage who goes by the name Dia, we follow her and her (merry?) band of misfits as they try and find out what they're meant to do. Relationships are made and then broken, enemies are faced and conquered. Some might lose everything, while others gain everything. Immerse yourself in the magical land of Kenora, where everything is always confusing, or at least... Almost always. Put yourself in Dia's place, as she describes what happens, as well as Xilphon's, Alicia's, and Primlin's. (Those three only for one chapter each.) Feel free to comment on anything you've noticed, or anything you think might happen in later chapters! I won't give spoilers, but I sure would like to see where you guys think this is headed!
