The year is 1816 and Napoleon was just overthrown for the second time. A young 19 year old Eloise Bridgerton is sent to the new Bourbon Restoration France to try to get a connection to a nobles for her family.
The King of France, Louis XVIII is fascinated by her wittiness and offered the recently widowed Charles Ferdinand, Duc de Berry, his nephew and would be most likely his future successor.
Eloise needs to make her friends in this family and make sure to not piss off any of her family back home. Will she make Allies or will she end up being the next Madame Deficit?
