Cody Carsen is a football star all throughout high school and she is an unpopular, school obsessed girl, who doesn't really mix with the popular kids.
Adriana Peters and Cody Carsen were friends in kindergarten and even said they were dating but of course that wasn't a real relationship. I mean they were only five...Adriana moves to another city shortly after and loses touch with her kindergarten friend. Until middle school when her parents make the move back to Mexico, NY. She instantly recognizes her friend, but will he recognize her? She is now a nobody and Cody has become a popular jock. He doesn't seem like the boy she would giggle with and learned how to tie her shoes with.
When high school rounds the corner, Cody confesses a secret that brings them back full circle until the inevitable happens. High school graduation! Cody gets an offer to play football for a college across the country and Adriana has her own goals. They follow their dreams, but the universe has other plans for them when their ten-year class reunion is planned and Cody flies back to his hometown.
Can they get through this reunion with each other after ten years apart or will their long history bring back the feelings that are deep within themselves?
