My take on how the Octonauts, well, became the Octonauts. I've always wondered how they have become since I was young and would watch the series with my younger sibling, especially ever since "The Octopod Mystery" episode aired, so I decided to write my thoughts down onto paper! Hope y'all enjoy!
Author's Note: In all my Octonauts works, Dashi will be speaking with an Australian accent (Original UK version) and Peso will be speaking with a Hispanic accent (US dub).
There is some shipping featured in the later chapters of this fanfic.

Octonauts and Paw patrol save each other (crossover fanfiction)
When the Octonauts first encountered the Paw patrol, both teams immediately befriended each other. But when half of the octonauts members and half of the paw patrol members are captured by heartless hunters and animal control, the other half of the teams have to work together to save their friends. Will both teams be able to rescue each other in time? A/N: I knew I said after my Mulan story I would be doing Bolt, but I changed in plans, plus this is my profile after all. In my version of octonauts I see them as four legged, except for Peso cause you know he's a penguin. But of course they still talk. Also this is sorta based on the movie 'Spirit untamed' but not allot, I was just inspired from the movie. Anyways I hope you enjoy.Complete

However, the International Beacon of Ocean Conservation team that we have assigned are going to face many trials beginning that year..." There's hesitation in that soft voice as he relayed the message. "It's so hard to sleep nowadays. With these images roaming in my head." They pinch the bridge of their eyebrows. "Write a note. I have something..." The other standing voice perks up, "What will it be, sir?" The pen hovers over the paper. "In some nights it will feel endless, that when you reach the end, you will realize that there is no turning back. So do not be nocturnal, Octonauts." "Pacific Coast, 8:34 pm "Why did we ever agree to this?" Dashi pulls out a knife from her pouch and cracks the screen, she positions herself and with a small grunt shoves her foot into the glass, as the shards drift across the tipsy halls. She pulls out the emergency tool box and swims her way to a nearby exit. Tweak loses her trust in Barnacles, and Inkling, the team's founder, demotes the captain to a Detective-a role he struggles to embrace, being better at solving game mysteries than real ones. As time passes, Peso is miraculously found alive and uncovers proof of Barnacles' innocence. It becomes clear that the real target of the poison was Barnacles all along. With Barnacles himself falling victim to poisoning, can the crew save their captain and mend the broken trust, or will this new enemy tear them apart and snatch their leader away?Complete

100 follower special!! Sorry it's really late. I realised I wanted to do a special a bit late. XD When Kwazii gets swept away by a storm, tension rises on the Octopod as they try to find him. Kwazii meets some friends, and they work together to get each of them back where they belong. I'm gonna put a trigger warning for some violence I guess?? Just a flashback, nothing much. I'll rate it Mature on the tag thing because there's some trauma and mentions of violence.Complete
