Hi, my name is Grace Black. I'm a witch, now, before you say anything listen. I don't have green skin and warts. No, I look like a regular teenage girl. But, I'm not LIKE a normal teenage girl. This isn't because I'm a witch. But, I'm mute. Mute by choice. I haven't spoken since I was two/three. Well, lets just say ever since my mum died and my dad was sent to prison for murder.
It's my first year at Hogwarts, but I'm fifteen. I'll be going to classes with fifth years. I'm going for the first time because my uncle Remus is teaching there, he's been reluctant to let me go in the past so he got permission to teach me magic from our home. I had to learn how to perform non-verbal spells right away. Seeing as, you know, I don't talk.
But, this year is going to be exciting. Lots will happen. I'll meet my god-brother, fall in love, and only I know what else, so read on if you'd like to find out. And maybe, just maybe. I'll talk again.
