"You're a deeply mistrusting person...and I respect that," he said, as if he knew my true reason. "But come on, you need the work. You probably haven't had a real meal in well over a month, have you? If this mission goes well, we can keep doing it until you get enough money to properly be on your own. It's not like I'll hurt you or anything. What do you have to lose?" I didn't say anything. What did I have to lose? Nothing. Not anymore. He was right, I was on my own, I hadn't eaten in days. This was the only chance I had, and if he was tricking me, well. I didn't have anything to lose. "Okay," I said finally. "I'm in."

In the Midst of all this, The Republic has enlisted the help of the Sacred Jedi Order as allies during the war. With the Separatists first target being Naboo, The Republic has sent their own Senator Padmè Amidala to try to convince The Separatists leaders to not use Naboo. The Jedi have sent Jedi Master Qui Gon Jinn along with Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi to protect her on the journey...
