A spectrum analyzer is a device used to measure and display signal strength. The amplitude of the signal varies by frequency within its spectrum. The frequency is displayed on the X-axis (Horizontal), and the amplitude appears on the Y-axis (Vertical). It looks similar to an oscilloscope.
