When she was a baby she Talia Al Ghul found her and brought her to train with the League of Assassins. There she met Damian Al Ghul and was betrothed. After Death Strokes attack Marinette was sent to live in Paris with an ex assassin and Damian was sent to live with his father in Gotham.
