Blake and Simon Masters, all they wanted to do was focus on racing, the rest of the family could play spies but not them.
Now with the season counting down to the last few races, they were both neck and neck for the champions podium. Best friends as well as identical twins their rivalry was competitive but good natured.
Beatrice Blackstone, at fifteen she had transferred to a new school, she would never forget that first day, another girl had made fun of her but the twins had stepped in, she never knew why they helped her, but from that point on the twins became a trio. She had watched them grow, helped them study, followed them to university and then watched from their sides as racing had become their passion.
She had tried to distance herself, but the boys would not let go. Going as far as to hire her as their PA when a job offer had threatened to take her to another part of the county.
She had tried to date, but the boys had scared them all off, telling her they weren't good enough for her.
But she had had enough, living in limbo, watching other women throw themselves at the twins every time they were out in public, even though their focus totally on racing. At least she didn't have to watch them pick from the crowd always around them, but it hurt, there was nothing she could do about it, as it would ruin their friendship and without that who would she be.
Maybe it was time to find out.
