He saw a little girl outside the cafe, about 5 years old and hugging a bunny, staring at him. She's wearing a white dress; has silver hair, which is a bit peculiar; a heartshaped face that looks like an angel's; and brown eyes that seems to glow like a cat's and quite intelligent for a child so young. There is something strangely familiar with the girl. Like he knows her or something.

-Daddy?-

He jolted and looked around.

Did anyone say something?

Weird. He's the only one in the cafe and it seemed like it came from beside him..

Ugh! Am i hearing voices now? Is this the first symptom of schizophrenia? And what the hell?? Daddy???

-I found you-

It sounded like a girl's voice. He instantly looked back to the girl outside.

And of course she would be gone.

Yep. I think I need more coffee. And probably a visit to a shrink.

For the first time ever, Elliot can't wait to get to chemistry class... ***** Smart, good looking and charismatic, Jordan opens Elliot's eyes to the possibilities around him and gives him butterflies like nobody else does. Jordan isn't exactly the kind of person Elliot's used to having as a lab partner, but when they start acing their assignments, life is suddenly about more than boring lectures, bad cafeteria nachos, or relentless bullying. And then one night, the butterflies start to make sense - the trouble is, now nothing else does. As Elliot begins to figure out how he really feels about Jordan, he realizes that sometimes the last thing you are expecting is the one thing you need the most. [[word count: 40,000-50,000 words]]
