In the distant future, a famous celebrity and entrepreneur is living his best life in his Las Vegas penthouse when everything takes a turn for the worse: A mind-controlling parasite has infiltrated the Earth Defense Force and is actively destroying it from the inside out. The troops who once vowed to protect Earth are now attacking the Vegas Strip. This attack has started a dark period of intense civil unrest. The people are not happy with the EDF. The soldiers who have not been taken over are desperately trying to keep them under control, with little success.

It appears that the Lady Killer Casino, which is scheduled to open later this week, is bearing the brunt of the attack, which means one of two things. They're either targeting the aforementioned celebrity, who happens to be the proprietor of the casino, or the President of Earth, who will be appearing at the grand opening.

Follow the adventures of Duke Nukem as he uncovers terrible secrets and battles even worse foes with the help of Suran Korando, Ignatius Baranar, Leni Natsana, Gen. Emmanuel Ryker, and others.
