When God created humans and monsters, he gave them a spiritual essence or soul, so that after their physical bodies perished, they could move on to either be rewarded or punished, depending on the life they chose to lead.  God intended for everyone to have his own soul, for obvious reasons. Every version of a person in every parallel world has its own soul.
But what if two souls would connect and share each other's existence? What if those souls were not the same species? Can a mere human withstand the sensation it brings with it? How can one survive this union of two souls, when one of them is a monster?
The answer lies within the mind of a girl named Alice.
