Meanwhile, Gaea forms her army, hundreds of cyclops, centaurs, Earthborn, sea serpents, monsters from all across the planet gather at the ominous Throne of Stone. There Gaea awaits her demigods, while waiting for reports from her spy within Camp Half-Blood. Emma has to face her prophecy, travel to Crete, and pray that her friends can forgive her for what she is about to do. In the spellbinding second installment of the Throne of Stone series promises to be more action packed than the last. Buckle up, this is going to be another wild rollercoaster.

They must go to the newly discovered Roman camp, pick up three other demigods, begin the quest to Rome, lose some team members in Tartaurs, close the Doors of Death, and inevitably wake Gaea.
