It's the summer of 1982 and Anna is trying to get away from it all.  

Anna Marie Hall travels to New York City to escape her dull life at home and take risks that she would have never done before. In the process of trying to get out of her comfort zone she meets new people and gets tangled up in a social and political battle.

 We get to insert ourselves in the lives of a wanna be rockstar, a late night radio show host, a club owner and many others.
