V dreams of proving everyone in her life wrong, her parents, her old teachers, and her bullies at school but not everything can be accomplished at only fifteen years of age, especially with crippling anxiety. Four months into sophomore year, V has found herself drowning in a sea of misery and longs to escape.
Deciding that nobody wants her around, V packs up her things and flees, hoping to disappear, but a series of events occur and V finds herself drowning in another sea, one from which she can't escape.
