A nineteen year old named Howard attempts to take his life after surviving a toxic relationship and winds up in a psychiatric hospital where he is treated for mental health and substance abuse rehabilitation. Howard feels like he has been cut off from society and refuses to socialize with anyone within the hospital and attempts to escape by talking his way out due to fear as this has never happened to him before. The nurses there attempt to calm him down, but this only makes Howard feel more helpless and escalates the situation. The nurses had no choice but to sedate Howard. Howard wakes up in a new section of the hospital where it feels more surreal and peaceful. This is where he meets a woman his age that is just like him, but chooses different ways to cope and had a different path in life than him. Eventually, after a few days of keeping to himself, he finally summons the courage to start a conversation with this woman. This is when his whole perspective of life suddenly becomes more foggy, but yet so much clearer. Can he love someone so fragile and addicting while he is trying so desperately to put back together the shattered pieces in his life?
