After 17 years, one tends to get tired of constant degrading and abuse from a parent. When you see the opportunity to leave you should seize it, run, and never look back. Kairo's one goal is to leave the hell hole that is his home town with his best friend (*cough*boyfriend but this was for school so I had to keep it platonic*cough*) and never turn back. Nothing ever goes the its planned.
Like mentioned, this was originally written as an essay for my literature class. However, with so much positive feedback from peers and teachers, I decided to upload it here. I guess in hopes for more appraisal and critiques. Please Enjoy! 🌸 -cherry
