Gerard way and Frank Iero have always passed each other in the hallway but never spoke a word to one another. They are both alike in many ways. Both loners who feel like they don't quite belong. Frank mostly spends his days depressed and alone. The occasional hurtful remarks from his fellow classmates and father wearing him down. Frank's family issues seem to swallow him hole which is mainly why he feels like throwing in the towel... permanently. Gerard lives to protect those he cares about. Though, he has a bit of an edgy attitude most people learn to respect. There's more to Gerard than what the outside shows. His brother Mikey and best friend Ray know glimpses of how he really feels, and how complications from the past really fuck with his behavior. But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide. He was so busy making sure Mikey was happy, he forgot to make sure he was happy himself. He knew Mikey deserved a family and parents, but Gerard was seriously fucking selfish. He had nothing left, except the beautiful boy he once met, Frank. He had to save Frank from his broken heart, even though Frank considered Gerard to be the one who needed saving from his own addictions. Gerard's self-destruction was getting out of hand.
