"Yes." Mr. Forkle confirmed. "And I think it's time you met him."

Sophie Foster is regrouping and recovering after the disaster in the Neverseen warehouse- and the news about Keefe's newest stupid plan.
She had found the note he'd left her- and put the pieces together easily.

"𝘐'𝘮 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘚𝘸𝘢𝘯 𝘩𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶" had given it away.

𝘏𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘳𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘣𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴. She knew.

Sophie stopped and stared at the note, tears welling up in her eyes. "Oh Keefe..." He was so stupid sometimes.

"Chiron???" I asked. He was acting extra suspicious.

I had seen the way his face had paled when Sophie walked in. He knew something.

"Hmm?" Chiron replied, lost in thought.

"Chiron, What is it? What're you hiding?"

"This is much worse. You've started a war." Councilor Emery said grimly.

"But we had to do something!" I said. I was tired of always playing defense. It was always the Neverseen attacking and us hiding.
I'll admit, starting the fire wasn't my best idea. But I wouldn't take it back for any reason.

I looked desperately at my friends, then at the councilors. I stopped at councilor Oralie. She didn't look like the rest of them. She didn't look grim, or disappointed. She looked... 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘥.
