ABANDONMENT

Everything went still and silence was all around the place. The only sound that could be heard was the droplets of rain falling on the window.

You gathered all your courage and spoke softly "We are not different"

He stared at your radiant face.

"We are different...we are totally different from each other our path is not the same our world is different" he told her "What made you think that we are same?" he questioned her taking slow steps towards her.

"Scars... The scars only angles have" you said while taking shaky breaths hope was glistening in your eyes.

"Only angels have scars" you finished and looked at him and found him staring at you. He came closer and cupped your cheek while stroking it with his thumb he looked in to your eyes and right at the moment something like gold flashed through his eyes and you held your breath when he was close enough to your ear where you could feel his hot breath fanning against your neck.

"Only angels have scars?? Huh" the amusement in his tone was clear and it send tingles down your spine. You closed your eyes when you heard him laughing historically at your words.
