This au is kinda tied to another universe of the DSMP lore, basically if the DSMP canon/fanon ships had children. The gods of the DSMP (XD, Drista, Mumza, Foolish, Philza, etc) made children for the Dream SMP characters, weather if it's canon or not they made kids based off of people. The gods made an alternate universe for the generation so kids can exist in that universe. So they can experience being with their parents, going through the trauma their parents went through and even their own trauma (they have their own lore). 
Some chapters will be based on the event in the DSMP or in the Tales Of The SMP, but it'll be played out differently with a new generation, with The Children Of The SMP.
