Poisoned Honey [h.s]

Her brown eyes warm, like pools of honey when the sun shined upon them.

His emerald green, like the leaves of trees ruffled by the wind in a summer day.

But the poison...the poison lied everywhere.

In her lips.

In his touch.

And when the world turned upside down, all they had left was each other.

Each other and the poison lingering underneath the surface, like poison ivy intertwined between the vines.
