Hellila Rose wakes up with no memories except for her name and seemingly foreign knowledge which she calls her Premos, or Pre-Memories. The world is in chaos and the Joys, monstrous creatures ravaging Earth, have caused the apocalypse. Lila then learns to take care of herself, hiding and fighting an equal amount. Soon she and her cat stumble across another few survivors, and they band up to survive.
