When Uther finally pays his price for making sure he had an heir in Arthur, emotional and mental chaos ensues. Arthur feels as though he has no purpose and like he will never be ready to rule- but Merlin changes that.
(This story is inspired from but will not be following the BBC show 'Merlin'. I'm currently watching Season 2 so my knowledge so far is what I will be using for this story, I don't know the ending and I doubt it will follow that.)
