What if Hiccup was raised by the dragons, in the ice sanctuary, for twenty years?
Until one day, he finds himself stuck on Berk.
Discoveries are made, new friends are found, and Hiccup's life changes significantly.
Will he go back home to the ice sanctuary and forget about Berk? Or will he stay to someday lead his people?

Also I don't plan things out like most other writers. I just write whatever comes to mind, and I'm gonna warn you, don't try it. Anyway, enjoy!

The trialing times for Berk seemed to have finally passed. But the arrival of an old friend, and the mysterious disappearances of dragons around New Berk, threatens the peace of New Berk. And brings Hiccup and all he cares about closer to danger once again. Set directly after the events of "How to train your dragon: the Hidden World". WARNING:Possible spoilers! It's the story of a young Viking. Actually, he isn't that young anymore. He's 23 years old now. His name is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. 8 years ago, he had to run away from his beloved home Berk because he became best friends with a creature that no Viking should ever become friends with: a dragon. Follow the brave Viking on a journey filled with joy, pain and even love, as he comes back to Berk... quite unexpectedly. 20/07/18: Changed the dialogue format and corrected a few grammatical errors. And what if Astrid lied to protect him? This story starts when the gang 15 during dragon training. Hiccup and Astrid have been going to the cove for about a year to fly Toothless and Stormfly. When Hiccup is chosen to kill the Monstrous Nightmare Astrid helps him run away. Two years later when Hiccup doesn't write back to Astrid and her letters start coming back to her she takes it upon herself to find him. What will happen when it Hiccup finds a new group of friends? Or when Astrid comes upon a new dragon and finds a family to call her own? What happens when a new enemy comes? Hiccup and Astrid's loyalty to their friends and tribes will be tested.
