How would the story go if Hiccup had been taken by Cloudjumper instead of Valka?
What if Hiccup was raised by the dragons, in the ice sanctuary, for twenty years?
Until one day, he finds himself stuck on Berk.
Discoveries are made, new friends are found, and Hiccup's life changes significantly.
Will he go back home to the ice sanctuary and forget about Berk? Or will he stay to someday lead his people?

(COMPLETE ✔️)
This story is a little bit of a mix of a lot of different fanfic ideas.
Also I don't plan things out like most other writers. I just write whatever comes to mind, and I'm gonna warn you, don't try it. Anyway, enjoy!

The darkness suffocates me. I can't see anything, and I don't remember anything either. I just remember falling. Falling. And now I'm here. To Keep Them Safe (Httyd)
What if the dragons decided to stay at New Berk with the Berkians? Hiccup works to lead the people of Berk and at the same time continue to care for the dragons. The trialing times for Berk seemed to have finally passed. But the arrival of an old friend, and the mysterious disappearances of dragons around New Berk, threatens the peace of New Berk. And brings Hiccup and all he cares about closer to danger once again. Set directly after the events of "How to train your dragon: the Hidden World". WARNING:Possible spoilers! Includes references and characters from Race to the edge, references to defender/riders of Berk, as well as all the main story of the movies. I don't own any of the characters, aside from any OCs I add. The characters and world belong to and are from 'How to train your dragon'. Note/warning: book contains some minor violence, pain, torture, and drama. It shouldn't be too bad, but I thought I would warn readers who may want to read this but not know. Hope you enjoy! :) Ps: I have a bad habit of not noticing typos and errors, some constructive criticism would be appreciated! :)Complete
The soul of a dragon (Completed)
It's the story of a young Viking. Actually, he isn't that young anymore. He's 23 years old now. His name is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. 8 years ago, he had to run away from his beloved home Berk because he became best friends with a creature that no Viking should ever become friends with: a dragon. Follow the brave Viking on a journey filled with joy, pain and even love, as he comes back to Berk... quite unexpectedly. 20/07/18: Changed the dialogue format and corrected a few grammatical errors. (There may still be a few errors, if so, feel free to tell me in the comment sections!) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE HTTYD FRANCHISE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Cover by: @heysierraComplete
Stolen Heir
Instead of Valka, it was Hiccup that was taken. I believe Cloudjumper intended to take Hiccup from the start. Join him on his dragon life. See how he meets Toothless in this scenario. See how Berk goes without their heir. What would happen? There is no... true answer. I am not the original creator, but I can give you my idea in this book. (Disclaimer: there is blood and violence in this story, read at own risk. You've been warned.)Complete
Stormbound
After a near disaster, Hiccup and Astrid decide to visit Berk, leaving Fishlegs in charge of Dragon's Edge. However, things take a turn for the worse when Hiccup detours to answer a distress call and gets much more than he bargained for. With the Dragon Eye and Hiccup's own life in the balance, it's up to the other Riders to save the Edge and their leader. This takes place somewhere in Season 2, I'm thinking after "A Time to Skrill" and before "Maces and Talons, Part 1." Disclaimer: I do not own any of these characters or images. All rights go to Dreamworks.Complete
Renegade (a HTTYD runaway story)
Complete!!! Hiccup was always a nuisance to the vikings on Berk. He was viewed as a runt, a shame, and a screw up. That all changed when he became the top of dragon training, and finally gets the chance everyone thought he only dreamed of. To kill a dragon in front of the entire village. Stoick was proud of his son, he had almost lost hope in him. Now, he proved everyone wrong, or so they thought. Hiccup wanted nothing more than to have this chance his entire life! However, that was before he met and bonded with Toothless, a night fury he had shot down weeks ago. Now, he wanted to escape, but not without attempting to convince the vikings that dragons weren't the real threat. He thought his monstrous nightmare match would be the perfect setting for such a feat. When things go sideways, when Toothless saves Hiccup, he has a choice, stay and try one last shot of convincing Berk, or flee with his best friend. He chooses the best option, he flees. Now, he is branded as a trator, a renegade. Stoick practically disowns him and he is never heard from again. five years later, Berk hears mighty tales of a grand hero who rides a night fury. Many call him 'Night Rider', 'Dragon Tamer', and 'Mysterious Rider'. Many doubted that this hero could be their traitorous ex heir to the Berkian leadership. After all, he was described as having a prosthetic leg, very tall, confident, and extremely buffed, while Hiccup was the opposite of all these descriptions. But... why then, has this new hero never visited Berk? And what will happen when he finally dose? Feel free to comment! I will also edit things I want everything to be amazing. If you catch an auto correct moment or anything that is an eye sore let me know please! I don't own any HTTYD franchise. there willl be some Hicstrid moments, but it will mainly focus on Toothless/Hiccup brotherhood. Yes, Valka will make an appearance and it will cover HTTYD 1 and 2.Complete
Runaways
Yes, it's another one of these but I really wanted to do another one and hopefully better than the other one. "What if we left for good?" "What do you mean?" Hiccup was planning to run away but now that Astrid knows his secret, he doesn't know what to do. Then Astrid comes up with a crazy idea that might just save them. They leave for good. Or that's what they thought. 7 years later, Hiccup and Toothless along with Astrid and Stormfly crash land on berk and chaos ensues and probably the greatest threat they would ever have to face. All characters are owned by dreamworks and/or Cressida Cowell. I just own this storyline.Complete
(hiccup x reader) After all this time, I still love you...
#1 hiccupxreader Warning: LEMON, also, following this story will put you in major FEELS! I didn't change Hiccup or Toothless's personally btw:) summary- You knew Hiccup since you were children. You were the next ruler in line for your Island and hiccup was next chief in line for Berk. You'd fly your dragon from your island to Berk and meet in secret with Hiccup everyday deep in the woods. You were best friends. You'd tell each other everything. Throughout your teenage years, you were an inseparable couple. Everything was magical, until one day when you were being forced to marry a selfish man who everyone thought had the power to end a war. You loved only Hiccup, a man who no body on your island knew, or would ever approve of. Your strict parents would never let you marry a Viking. So you disappeared into a new far away place with your dragon, and you were never seen again. Hiccup and (y/n), an unbreakable bond. What happens when you are reunited with Hiccup and he is the only person that you want? Is it possible to make everything go back to normal, after you abandoned everything you knew? Was the new world where you truly belong? Or is it in Hiccups arms? I guess we'll just have to wait and see... -rude language, brief sexual content, gore descriptions- (Hiccup and Astrid are not dating in this story, but the whole gang are very good friends) Also, most of the artwork in this book isn't mine, notify me if you have credit/ it's yours. Also be sure to vote and follow me for more:) #1 hiccupxreaderComplete
