"Sometimes things happen that we have no control over. But we can't dwell in the past, instead we have to stay strong and look to the future, and be ready for the next thing that comes our way. And that's how you survive, even though it's tough."

Alexa lives in Tarmoth, a small town that was once mined for copper. It's in one of these abandoned mines Alexa hides, and its where she is the day the unforgettable happened, the day the abnormal sun flares finally broke through the atmosphere, melting everything and everyone in their path. When the flares die down, and Alexa gets to the surface, what has happened to her town? Her friends? Her family? After all the devestation, a new virus breaks out, and a new hero appears; W.I.C.K.E.D. But are they really trying to save the world, or themselves? What other hope does Alexa have? Can anything salvage the remains of her world?
