Cameron Miller.
One of the most valued, supported, and beloved students at Woodrow High.
He's the guy everyone wants to be friends with, who gets leniency from teacher's when it becomes game day over homework, the one you want to break your heart.
And it's not like he's oblivious to these things no, he enjoys the attention. Cameron understands his grasp on this school and uses every advantage he can get.
Even if he means hurting the ones closest to him.

Samara Marlia.
One of the forgotten ones. It's not like she doesn't exist in the eyes of others, she just doesn't stand out.
But, Samara's okay with that, she doesn't want to stand out. She likes her little bubble, where she can safely watch things from a distance and not actually be apart of the many, many scandals that go down at Woodrow High.
And it's not like she's oblivious as to where she places on the social hierarchy. Samara understands that some people aren't meant to fit in, and she's just one of them.
This is how it's been for the past two years at school, why would this year be any different?
Cameron Miller and Samara Marlia, they come from two completely different places, different circles, different planets practically. Crazy to think that once upon a time, they used to be best friends.
And now, they have to live together.
(Before You Leave #1)
She was sent to boarding school over the smallest of mistakes...
Okay, burning down your schools gym might have been a big one. But she didn't mean to do it. This time. And she's certainly no snitch.
She's had a fine life. But she wanted something more. And so she created chaos.
She was misjudged and misunderstood.
And now she's the havoc of Birchwood Prep. They call her the devil's bitch, the principal's worst nightmare, and a screwed up whore.
They can think what they want, JJ Ashton has heard these all throughout high school. She doesn't want a future, she just wants to take control of now. She's everything Birchwood Prep doesn't want, but is deemed to get after her Father decided it was the only option for her to find some discipline.
She's not going to make it that easy for them.
Gideon Andrews is the perfect student. Good grades, never missed a day, and never had been in trouble of any sort. He thinks life is great, but meeting JJ, she thinks life for him could be better. Less plain and vanilla.
He hates her guts. It's mutual for her as well.
But the headmaster has made it Gideon's personal mission to get her back on track and into a better life. She's allowed two screw ups, has to join a sports team, pass all of her classes with at least a C and get some friends before the year is over, or she will be held back.
And she's not about to go another year in the hellhole called high school.
