Derek's a father of two kids, one boy, and one girl. his son is eleven years old and his youngest daughter is six. Meredith is Derek's daughter's teacher but she also helps the older kids who are having trouble with school work more than others because the younger ones get out of school earlier then the others.

Meredith Grey decided she wasn't cut out for surgery so instead, she became a teacher. One of her students brings something unexpected into her life. How does she deal with it?
