Moving to the city was hard enough for Nya Smith. Having to deal with a new school, new home, and a new family is the least of her problems. She discovers that everyone in the city has secrets: her brother, her foster family, her server at a local restaurant. Even the boy from her school that she's catching feelings for. But can she trust him when he's constantly lying to her? 

This is a Ninjago AU. Heavy on the Jaya, if you didn't infer that from the description. I don't own any of the characters but gosh darn it, I love writing about them.
