Gods just can't get their s*** together sometimes. Whether it be sibling rivalries from thousands of years ago or screwing with the lives of their illegal children, something always has to go wrong. These stories are the results of the Gods' mistakes, and the poor mortals who have to deal with it.
This really just for me to try to organize the excerpts from this series I want to write but I can never get around to so I just accepted that it won't be more than these excerpts for a long time.

The Witch's Daughter
Taking a wrong turn through the Lost Miracle Cave isn't exactly how Amma expects to spend her family reunion, but when her life is threatened by a cave-elf ritual, she must use all the strength her magic (and mind) has to offer. Another tale set in the same fantasy world, this time focusing on Auntie Bathilde and the struggles of her family. This story has been edited slightly, especially near the end. I can't believe I actually submitted it somewhere. They didn't tell me it was bad, but looking back, I cringed. Nevertheless, it was how the backstory came to me. I regret sending it so short, but the website made it sound like they were looking for stories under a certain word count. However, for what it is, I think it still worked out. NOTE: This is set after Bathilde was in the Neo-Jotun Kingdom and French Resistance, but her memories are focused more on family, as that's who reunited with her. I may or may not write a short story about her time in these places.Complete
Zoombieverse - Memory 2: The Knife
The darkness of the past catches up to the present and looms over the future. The now-grown undead god meets someone from his past for the last time in his infinite life. An ancient artifact that unlocks a hidden ability comes into his possession and will stay with him throughout his infinite life. Excerpts: Hearing that title broke him from his mental preoccupation. _Oh, no. Not her. Not with these people._ Glancing around the table, he saw that everyone was looking at him, overtly and covertly, watching and waiting for his reaction. ... The young god stood up in excitement. _It just talked to me! I'm talking to it! This is so weird. What else can I ask it?_ ... _What should I say? I should say something, right?_ "Umm... Hi!" he managed to say. He stopped himself from wincing at his awkward greeting as he felt every eye in the room on him and maintained a casual and relaxed facade. _'Hi'? Really? After not seeing her for so long, all you can say is 'Hi!'? Say something else._ "I came here to see you." _No, idiot. Say something less obvious._ "And, uhh, talk to you." _What's wrong with you, self?_ ... "I don't know. I don't really know what to do anymore. I've done terrible things to him but I don't know anymore if I did the right thing."Complete
Of Stones and Such
This is a living book of short stories that will grow over time. It may not all be in this first book of stories, but in follow-on tomes. These stories are all based in the universe of "Pearls of the Mother," the same universe from which the "Duncan and Lilly" stories live. Some of these stories may overlap, and some may be continuations of another, but they are all part of the same universe. I created these as part of my "World Building and Backstory" system, and I've come to love them just as much as the books. I hope you will, too. Every time a question came up while writing one story, I wrote another story to answer the question. I guess it really is true ... For in the greater realm of "Pearls of the Mother" ... each story is another Pearl, and each Pearl another story. :)Complete

And Such Are Stones
This is the second in the series "A Book of Stories." The first book, "Of Stones and Such" paved the way for more offspring in this set. In some of these stories, you may find a few familiar names and places. There is quite a bit of violence and pseudo-sexual content. It's still not what I would classify as Mature, but there are themes that tickle the line, and there are also things that may seem offensive to some. Ah well ... Life is what it is. There's goodie-goodie stuff too ... just like in real life. Sometimes there is good in the bad, and bad in the good.Complete
A Dime a Dozen
Warning: this book contains nonsensical stories. All fiction, but not necessarily connected. Boop. Just for funzies. This is a compilation of shorts that are unrelated, mostly. Cute, funny, sad, emotional whatever was in my head and I was in the mood to write. Dragons, magic, romance, friendship, family, fights, fights with family- these are all over the place. Names may be used in more than once, but that doesn't mean the stories are related (it just means I really like the name, :p ); however, some shorts may get additions or elaborations or show up in other works, but unless stated other wise, THEY ARE NOT RELATED. Boop. Read at your own risk, but don't fall in love with the characters. I promise no additions. Feel free to leave comments and ask questions or straight up beg for me to write more about some characters. Who knows? I may be merciful and oblige.
