What I Create Is Chaos

"They only listen to a select few. Me and one other. But the only way the other guy will help is if you agree to let us finish what we started?"

I tense my jaw thinking really hard about anything else I could do but it seems these things won't give up even if I hit one or even manage to kill one. I wouldn't put it past these monsters to eat one another, so I close my eyes feeling defeat and I say "fine, just call off these . . . things!"

He does, and I wonder why he mentioned another guy if he was going to call them off. The door closes behind the creatures, and I breathe in a breath of relief that won't last long.
