Set one year after the events of Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard: Ship of the Dead. (2014) 

A certain son of Odin finds himself longing adventure for the first time in a millenia. He hears about trouble in a small town in Washington and decides to give it a visit. It turns out that he's not the weirdest being that came out of Midgard after all. 

On the other side of our story, a vampire has been waiting to meet their mate for decades. One day, a member of their coven tells them that someone is coming to their town. 

When this 'someone' arrives, he arrives with a secret... and a very unexpected turn of events.
