After living a regular life- well, as regular in the village can get- Fern is saved from the sudden lycan invasion by Mother Miranda. To thank her, Fern offers her services only to be carted away and given to one of the four lords as a gift.
Soon after being dropped off at the Beneviento house, the elusive lady shows Fern her quarters then disappears into the dark confines of the house. Confused, Fern must navigate being a maid to the mysterious Lady Beneviento and her doll. Strangely, it doesn't feel like she's working for another person. It almost feels like living with a ghost.
